Sundays at the Museum: Lectures through September

This new lecture series is proving to be very popular as the first two discussions garnered more attendance than anticipated!  As stated before, this year’s series will focus on Civil War topics, in keeping with the 150th anniversary of Sherman’s March to the Sea in 1864.

All programs will be held in the museum, unless otherwise noted, and are free to the public, though donations are always appreciated. Light refreshments will be served afterward. Anyone who enjoys history, has an interest in the Civil War, or simply loves a good story may find “Sunday at the Museum” to be habit-forming.  Please be sure to mark your calendar for the Sundays at the Museum lectures below as they are now scheduled through the month of September.

Second Samuel…Round 2!

PAPA has created another wonderful play that people are raving about! Opening weekend was a success but not to worry if you don’t have your tickets yet! Two more shows this weekend!

Second Samuel is a very popular play in America’s deep South and beyond. This Pulitzer nominated script is told through the eyes of the mentally challenged B Flat. You’ll meet the folks of Second Samuel, GA (the first Samuel was burned down) as they deal with a most unusual circumstance.
