Hallmarks of the Residence are a Versatile Floor Plan, Spaciousness and Affordability

Harbor Club, a 1,000-acre community on Lake Oconee, has unveiled a spacious new waterfront model home called the Pine Lake, offering a versatile, open floor plan at a price point that might pleasantly surprise home seekers.

The 3,000+ sq. ft. Pine Lake model home overlooks a tranquil pond in the Pine Lake neighborhood of Harbor Club, which is framed by a sparkling mile-long inlet of Lake Oconee.

“The Pine Lake is a versatile 3-bedroom plan that will accommodate a growing family or empty nesters who might enjoy family or entertaining,” said Harbor Club general manager, Brandon Matney. “The home has a variety of inviting architectural details, such as natural stone accents around the foundation, arched windows, broad covered porches, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and a two-car garage.”

The Pine Lake’s flexible floor plan on the main level has a Great Room with fireplace, open concept eat-in kitchen, a master suite, and a formal dining room. The dining room can be modified prior to construction on a new home into an additional main-floor bedroom or a study.

Further flexibility lies on the terrace level, where two bedrooms and baths frame a multi-use family recreation space that opens out to a ground level covered porch and the back lawn. An additional 800 sq. ft. of unfinished space on the terrace level can be converted to a media room or used for off-season storage of outdoor grills, lawn furniture, kayaks and other recreational equipment.

Upstairs, an unfinished, but airy 400 sq. ft. bonus room over the garage can easily be upgraded to a home business office, playroom or in-law suite.

The Pine Lake model home grand opening is the latest expression of forward-thinking at Harbor Club over the last year. Other initiatives include an enhancement of the community’s amenities, the opening of a new marina and boat storage facility this summer, a release of new homesites in April that generated 63 sales over a single weekend and a broad-reaching re-branding program of Harbor Club that includes a new logo and website (www.harborclub.com).

The model home was built by Patriot Home Builders of Greensboro.
