We recently came across this wonderful organization—This Child Christian Foundation (TCCF), Inc.
The organization was established in March of 2004 by a group of 5 mothers led by Sherry Patrick. TCCF, Inc. is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide solutions for families with young adults who are moderately to severely disabled. These young adults are able to remain in the public school system until the age of 21.
After this time their families care for them full-time. In order to provide these families with help, love and support, TCCF seeks to open a day time facility for these individuals so that they can be loved and cared for, and also so that their families may continue to hold day jobs.
