An outdoor, community Blessing of the Animals will be hosted by Lake Oconee Community Church at the Reynolds Plantation Pavilion Point on Sunday, October 7 at 9:30.
You are invited to attend and bring pets of any kind for a blessing. This is an annual community-wide event to celebrate the Feast Day of St. Francis of Asissi. You are encouraged to bring pet food, which will be donated and distributed to animal shelters in Greene and Putnam counties. For directions or more information, go to the church website at locc.co.
