Pathways to Healing Announces the Addition of New Doctor

The Lake Oconee Boomers Team

tms_school_boardDr. Ramona Warren of Pathways to Healing is pleased to announce the addition of a new doctor to her lake area chiropractic and nutritional practice.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Dr. Thomas Serra as the newest member of the Pathways to Healing team,” says Dr. Warren.  “His extensive skills and experience have already proven to be a great addition to our practice.”

Dr. Serra brings 33 years of chiropractic experience as the “Family Chiropractor” for thousands of Atlanta-area residents, having run a successful long-time practice in Conyers, GA.  He is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and holds additional certifications in acupuncture and Active Release Technique.  Active Release Technique is a form of soft-tissue therapy that, when used in conjunction with the Graston Technique, can effectively treat a variety of soft tissue injuries such as carpal tunnel, sciatica, TMJ, plantar fasciitis, golf and tennis “overuse” injuries, and more.

Dr. Serra takes a straightforward approach with each patient he treats by finding the cause of the pain or malfunction, treating according to patient need and tolerance, and guiding in-home rehabilitation efforts.

“Dr. Serra’s skill set is a great fit for our practice,” says Dr. Warren.  “He brings new skills, such as acupuncture and soft tissue therapy, that help to further enhance the range of services we can offer, and will allow us to provide more comprehensive and personalized care to each patient.”

“Few things are as rewarding as helping others overcome chronic pain and illness through chiropractic care and nutritional counseling,” says Dr. Serra.  “Pathways to Healing has a tremendous reputation in the community.  I’m excited to partner with a practice so committed to helping people live pain-free, active lives.”

Dr. Serra is currently accepting new patients.  Please call the Pathways to Healing office at 706-454-2040 to schedule an appointment.
