On New Year’s Day, over 130 people watched 7 brave people (Sylvia Green, Scott Baker, Harvey Kart, Linda Lefevre, Peter Carroll, Tom Carroll and Bret Mendenhall) take a plunge in Lake Oconee for the 1st Annual Polar Bear Plunge at Del Webb.
In addition, over $200 was raised for Circle of Love. The Circle of Love Center provides direct and support services to victims of domestic abuse and their children through shelter and non-residential services. They look toward empowering victims of domestic violence and their families to break the various cycles of domestic violence.
